Robbie Williams has revealed that he contemplated suicide at a time in his life when he was ‘doing a lot of coke.’
Speaking on Jo Woods’ Alien Nation podcast, the singer, 45, candidly spoke about his battle with mental health and substance abuse while living in a ‘dark’ house in Primrose Hill, North London with an ex-girlfriend.
Robbie claimed he would ‘always hear footsteps which got progressively got worse’ prompting him to flee in terror and claim he ‘would have to kill himself’ if forced to return.
Speaking of the house Robbie explained: ‘Instantly I picked up on it being weird and dark and having an energy. The first time it manifested itself as something physical the ghetto blaster came on.
‘I was doing a lot of coke at the time. I would be in the house but hear footsteps go up the stairs. It got progressively worse. She (ex-girlfriend) thought it was her granddad.
