Willian concedes Chelsea are still recuperating from Eden Hazard’s summer departure to Real Madrid. However, there is one player who can fill the void left bu the Belgian – at least goal-wise and it’s Tammy Abraham.
The Brazilian said: “I think Hazard’s exit was a big loss. Eden is a player that can make the difference, but I think we have players that can continue to make the difference as well.
“Abraham is playing well at the moment. He is scoring lots of goals and I am very happy for him.
“The young players are doing well. They can improve a lot. I think Chelsea is Chelsea. No matter the players we have, we have to fight until the end in every competition. That’s what we want to do this season.”
Abraham has scored 7 goals in the Premier League this season, including a hat-trick against Wolverhampton last weekend. The recent performance by the 21-year-old spurred Chelsea to offer him a new 5-year deal that will double his earnings at the club.
